Sierra & Nick's Stonefields Wedding by Joey Rudd Photography

We were out at Stonefields in Carleton Place this weekend for Sierra & Nick's lovely wedding. The picturesque venue that Stonefields is was the perfect background for this couple's special day. They had the place decorated perfectly to highlight them as a couple and despite the rain, it was a beautiful day.
We appreciate the trust that a couple puts in us to capture the details and moments of their day and strive to document each and every moment perfectly through photos. It is always fun to work along side other great people in the wedding industry and so thanks to Stonefields for hosting so well, Jan from CaptivSounds for throwing a great party, and Jenna from Two Rings Video for working that video so hard and sharing our table so well.

It is always an honour to be trusted to capture the memories for someone on their special day. It is even more of an honour when you are one of only four people present. Ottawa Wedding Awards 2017

Last night was the Ottawa Wedding Awards. It was a fun night of hanging out with some of the wonderful people in the wedding industry here in Ottawa. Hosted by Quality Entertainment at the beautiful Infinity Convention Centre, this event recognizes leaders in the industry via either people's choice awards or platinum awards (voted by a panel of judges). We had the privilege of winning an award last night alongside so many other talented wedding professionals! Out of the five photography categories we were excited to take home the award for Most Unique Wedding Photo. This was actually the exact same category we took an award home for last year as well! The photo that won was a double exposure photograph from a small intimate wedding last year- you can check it out below.
