Andrea & Ryan are getting married in October and I am so excited to photograph their special day! This couple is so fun and photogenic and thoughtful (they bought my new daughter, Kaliyana, an adorable outfit as a gift!) They are even a great source for good movies (I watched The Collector yesterday at their recommendation and enjoyed it greatly)! But ultimately, it is their natural elegance before my camera that makes my job so easy and enjoyable. Here's a preview from their session on Sunday.

Rhonda & Austin's Ottawa Elopement Wedding by Joey Rudd Photography

Last month Rhonda & Austin took a trip with their adorable little son. They went to Montreal, Ottawa and then Quebec City. While they were in Ottawa they tied the knot in a park overlooking the Parliament Buildings. After Keith from Exceptional Ceremonies finished the official business, Austin gave out a shout for joy, proclaiming over the Rideau River and to anyone that could hear that he was finally married to the love of his life. It was a beautiful intimate wedding with only their son as a witness. I was so honoured to get to celebrate this special moment with this family.

Clare & James' Engagement by Joey Rudd Photography

Even though it was only an hour long, I feel like I got to know Clare & James' so well during their engagement session. From Dane Cook quotes and being surrounded by horses to running away from each other (i.e. proposal reenactments) this session was certainly unique and fun! Clare & James aren't your dramatic pose on the spot kind of people, they are fun-loving and interesting. They brought so much of their personalities to this session as well as a guitar and an awesome voice.
