Joyce & Matt’s wedding at the Brookstreet Hotel was truly a celebration. From beginning to end the energy was incredible. You can tell that these two love to have fun, fun with each other and fun with their friends. The Brookstreet’s beautiful grounds served as a perfect location for their party of a wedding.

Grace & Joel's Wedding at TwentyTwo at the Westin
Overlooking Ottawa’s downtown, Grace & Joel were married at Venue TwentyTwo. This was one of the first weddings of the year after a delayed start thanks to the pandemic. It was so wonderful to be able to celebrate with these two and their lovely families. Grace wore a traditional dress for their tea ceremony and switched for the ceremony. The Westin was the perfect venue for their wedding and offered great options for photos after the ceremony as well as at the end of the reception later in the night.

Keltie & Crispin's Backyard Elopement Wedding
When you think of an elopement wedding what do you imagine? Just the two of you and an officiant and a photographer? Sometimes that is the perfect elopement and there have been many that I have photographed where I have filled the role of one of the witnesses. While I absolutely love being a part of weddings as intimate as that, there is something special about one that is still intimate, but includes a handful of guest. Perhaps just a few best friends, maybe just some family or some combination of the above- either way there is something special about such an intimate celebration surrounded by those closest to the bride and groom.
Keltie and Crispin did both! In the morning they tied the knot with an officiant in a park with a couple of friends as witnesses, followed by the most beautiful, intimate wedding in her parents’ backyard. Surrounded by just a handful of their family they were married at sunset under a beautiful tree. On top of their spectacular style (see both of their incredible taste in outfits), was their adorable intimacy seen through their brief touches and genuine smiles and laughter. Such wonderful people to work with and such a fun elopement wedding to photograph. See for yourself the fun that we had.
