Evermore Weddings & Events in Almonte is certainly a popular choice for couples getting married in Ottawa and the surrounding area. With its perfect combination of both rustic charm and chic elegance, it is the perfect venue for many brides and grooms. It is a favourite of mine to photograph at as well. I love the vast, beautiful view that the ceremony location boasts as well as the beautifully perfected grounds that look so lovely in photos.
I always love photographing weddings at Stonefields Estate. Sitting just south of Carleton Place, this venue is not a far drive from Ottawa and is certainly worth the trip. Beautiful buildings and landscaping and exceptional service are just a few of the things that sets Stonefields apart. The service at this venue will make you feel like royalty and with everything so perfectly tailored to spectacular events and beautiful for photos, this venue is certainly a favourite of mine to photograph at.
Strathmere has three beautiful wedding venues situated on its picturesque property in Ottawa, including a 150-year-old restored barn, an airy and tranquil Garden House, and a beautiful fieldstone farmhouse. It is hard to beat the colours around Strathmere in the fall which make this one of my favourite places to photograph, especially during that time.
The National Arts Centre is a classic, but timelessly beautiful, wedding venue in Ottawa. With incredible architecture and bright, naturally lit spaces, the NAC is a fantastic place for photos. It is also walking distance from so many other lovely photo locations in the city.
Venue TwentyTwo is one of a kind with its unmatched view of Ottawa’s downtown. Located on the 22nd floor of the Westin it has a 270° view of Parliament hill, the Ottawa river and more. This spacious banquet hall can be used as either a ceremony location or reception hall (or both!) Easy access to downtown leaves couples with fantastic options for photos as well.
Centrally located on Queen Elizabeth Driveway and just steps away from the Dominion Arboretum and Botanical Garden at the Central Experimental Farm, Lago boasts panoramic water views of Dow’s Lake. This two story venue is a unique, modern, open concept space.
Le Belvédère is located a short drive north of Ottawa, nestled on a magnificent cliff with breathtaking views of the Gatineau Hills.
